The Compass Pointe Junior League
In the Compass Pointe Junior League, players will compete against one another for a weekly prize as well as an overall prize at the end of the season. Competing in the league is a great way to keep your junior golfer interested in the game while providing an exciting atmosphere where they can grow friendships through the game of golf. Our league is split into two divisions to make things fair for both our older and younger players. In Division 2 juniors ages 9 – 13 will compete in a team-based scramble each week with the highest placing teams receiving a prize. In Division 1, juniors ages 14 – 17 will compete in a variety of formats that will keep them engaged. The Compass Pointe Junior League will run from April until the end of August with a point base system to establish an overall leaderboard for the league. Players will not need to compete in every event, however attending more events will mean a higher point total.

Payouts
Juniors will be able to earn Compass Cash, the same currency we use during our summer camps by playing in our junior league. Payouts will be given the following week after a round is played to ensure we have enough time to finalize the leaderboard. Only players finishing in the top 3 places will receive prize money. The total prize money pool will be determined by the number of players each week with 50 Compass Cash being added to the pool per player that participates in the event that week. Prize money will be split equally among the number of players who are ranked in the top three places if there is a tie, the percentage will increase from a lower ranking to increase the higher ranking’s payout.
At the end of the season additional prize money will be paid out for players who place in the top 3 places for the overall season rankings. The percentages and splits will remain the same as the weekly events. 50 Compass Cash will be added to the season’s prize money pool for every player that participates in each event.
1st Place – 50%
2nd Place – 35%
3rd Place – 20%
Tie Example:
23 players participated in the event this weekend. 50 Compass Cash x 23 Players = 1,150 Compass Cash prize money pool. All Payouts will be rounded up to the nearest 10.
