Remember the GOLF Channel series Driver vs Driver, where aspiring club designers tried to revolutionize the driver industry? In a GOLF.com article, it's come out that the winning design, the Triton, was partially deemed non-conforming (9 and 10.5-degree loft were approved, and 12 degrees was not). This is due to issues with the removable plate in the base creating too many cavities and ball speed off the face being slightly too high.
Wilson has said they expect all variations to be approved by the start of the season. If you want to have the Triton for yourself, come see Mike, Ed, or Scott in the pro shop today!
